From Mumbai to Boston

My journey of pursuing excellence in Computer Science at Northeastern University

Mumbai → Boston 2021 - 2027

My Journey Timeline

2021 - 2025

The Foundation

Started my journey at NMIMS University, Mumbai, pursuing B.Tech in Computer Engineering. This is where my curiosity about "How do machines learn?" began, leading me through domains like web development, AI, and data pipelines.

Breaking Through with Innovation

Developed Parkez, an urban parking solution, and won 1st prize at Saavishkar 2024. Also created ConnectHub, a knowledge-sharing platform powered by OpenAI, winning 1st place at Debate-a-thon. These victories taught me that technology's true value lies in solving real-world problems.

First Steps in Industry

Joined Capgemini Technology Services as a Software/Data Analyst Intern. Built a data migration tool for Snowflake, designed data pipelines with Apache Airflow, and gained hands-on experience with AWS cloud computing. The transition from theory to practice was transformative.

Scaling Up as a Data Engineer

Returned to Capgemini as a Data Engineer. Led the migration of Xray application from Mendix to Node.js and Vue.js, integrated Power BI with Snowflake, and documented AWS ECS microservices architecture. This role taught me about clean architecture, comprehensive documentation, and balancing innovation with stability.

Northeastern University

Currently pursuing MS in Computer Science at Khoury College, specializing in AI/ML and Data Engineering. Chose Northeastern for its experiential learning through the renowned co-op program, strong AI/ML focus, and Boston's vibrant tech ecosystem. My goal: become a bridge between academic research and industry application.

What Drives Me

Beyond technical skills, these core values guide my journey in computer science

Curiosity

Every line of code starts with a question. I believe the best solutions come from those who never stop asking "why?" and "what if?"

Empathy

Technology should serve everyone. My volunteer work taught me that the best engineers build with empathy, creating inclusive solutions.

Growth

Computer science evolves constantly, and so must I. Every challenge is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and become better.

"The path from Mumbai to Boston has been transformative. But this is just the beginning. I'm committed to evolving with the field, constantly learning, building, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible."
